This website was made as part of a case study in GIMA module 2, November 2005 - March 2006, which was supervised by Barend Köbben of ITC Enschede.
The website was made by Karolina Orlinska, Warsaw, Poland and Steven Keijzer, Zwolle, the Netherlands. Both are students of the MSc GIMA course.
Object of the case study was to design a simple website offering geospatial information about the Enschede fireworks disaster. The dataprocessing was done in ArcGIS. The website was made using Dreamweaver MX. Images were exported from ArcGIS and edited for web-use in Photoshop. The case study report can be found here.
All geospatial information was generated from data supplied by ITC, except where stated otherwise. Additionally, a lot of information was found on various websites dedicated to the disaster, which can be found in the links section.
